Day 1: Dehradun – Dhaula (Drive)

Drive: 200 km | 9-10 Hours

Your adventure begins from Dehradun with a scenic drive through Mussoorie, Purola, Mori and Netwar before reaching the peaceful Himalayan village of Dhaula, the traditional base camp of Rupin Pass Trek.

Day 2: Dhaula – Sewa

Distance: 10 km Trek
Duration: 5-6 Hours

After breakfast, begin your Rupin Pass Trek following the Rupin River through dense forests, hanging bridges and beautiful villages. Reach Sewa Village, famous for its ancient temple and traditional wooden houses.

Day 3: Sewa – Jhaka (Hanging Village)

Distance: 12 km

Today’s trail gradually climbs through forests and waterfalls before reaching the famous Jhaka Village, also known as the Hanging Village due to its dramatic location on the mountainside.

Day 4: Jhaka – Dhanderas Thatch

Distance: 8 km
Duration: 5-6 Hours

Today’s route enters alpine terrain. Walk through lush meadows, rhododendron forests and massive waterfalls before arriving at the spectacular campsite of Dhanderas Thatch.

Day 5: Dhanderas Thatch – Upper Waterfall Camp

Distance: 3-4 km
Duration: 3 Hours

A short but steep climb brings you to the iconic Upper Waterfall Camp, located beside the magnificent Rupin Waterfall.

Spend the afternoon acclimatizing and enjoying breathtaking mountain scenery.

Day 6: Upper Waterfall Camp – Rupin Pass – Ronti Gad

Start before sunrise to cross the legendary Rupin Pass (4,650 m).

The climb involves steep snow slopes (seasonal), rocky sections and spectacular Himalayan views before descending into Himachal Pradesh to Ronti Gad.
