The rest of the day is free for relaxation and acclimatization. Participants can explore the local markets, cafes, and scenic surroundings of Manali.

In the evening, the expedition leader conducts a detailed briefing session covering the expedition route, safety protocols, equipment requirements, and climbing strategy.

Day 2 – Acclimatization and Equipment Preparation

Proper acclimatization is essential for a successful Himalayan expedition.

This day is dedicated to preparing for the upcoming climb. Participants check their equipment, rent any required mountaineering gear, and attend training sessions conducted by the expedition leader.

Day 4 – Dhundi to Bakarthach Trek

Bakarthach means “Shepherd’s Meadow,” and the campsite is surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and lush grasslands.

Day 5 – Bakarthach to Lady Leg Camp

Altitude: 3,800 meters

Day 10 – Advanced Base Camp to Bakarthach

Trek Distance: 6 km
Drive Distance: 14 km

The final trekking day takes participants back to Solang Valley.
