Day 2 – Manali to Sissu (Cycle Ride via Rohtang Pass)
Distance: 55 km
Altitude: 3,130 m
The expedition officially begins today as cyclists start riding from Manali toward Rohtang Pass, one of the most famous mountain passes in the Himalayas.
The climb to Rohtang Pass is challenging but extremely rewarding with spectacular views of glaciers, waterfalls, and snow-covered peaks.
After reaching the pass, riders descend into the beautiful Lahaul Valley and continue cycling towards Sissu village.
Sissu offers stunning views of mountains, waterfalls, and the Chandra River.

Day 3 – Sissu to Jispa
Distance: 45 km
Altitude: 3,200 m
The ride continues through the scenic landscapes of Lahaul Valley. The route follows the Bhaga River, offering beautiful views of snow peaks and green valleys.
Cyclists pass through charming Himalayan villages including:

Day 4 – Jispa to Zingzingbar
Distance: 50 km
Altitude: 4,270 m
Today’s ride gradually climbs toward the Baralacha La region, entering higher altitude terrain.
The landscape becomes more rugged and dramatic as riders approach the high mountain pass. The route passes through remote Himalayan terrain with glaciers and alpine meadows.
Cyclists reach Zingzingbar, a scenic high altitude campsite located near the base of Baralacha La.

Day 5 – Zingzingbar to Sarchu via Baralacha La
Distance: 45 km
Altitude: 4,290 m
This is one of the most exciting days of the expedition as riders cross Baralacha La Pass (4,890 m).
The climb to Baralacha La is challenging but the views of glaciers, mountains, and high altitude lakes are breathtaking.
After crossing the pass, riders descend into the vast plains of Sarchu, located on the border of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh.

Day 6 – Sarchu to Pang
Distance: 60 km
Altitude: 4,600 m
The journey continues through one of the most dramatic sections of the Manali–Leh highway.
Cyclists ride through the famous Gata Loops, a thrilling series of 21 hairpin bends that climb steeply into the mountains.
After crossing Nakee La Pass, riders continue toward Lachulung La Pass, another high altitude mountain pass.
The day ends at Pang, a remote high altitude settlement surrounded by spectacular rock formations.

Day 7 – Pang to Tso Kar
Distance: 60 km

Day 8 – Tso Kar to Debring
